First Story is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting the cycle of poverty through affordable home ownership. First Story provides working families in Idaho, Washington, and Oregon with 30 year no interest, no down home loans. They also partner with generous companies like Mt. Hood Decorating to provide those families with move-in ready homes. To date, Brisa and her team have generously donated just shy of $10,000 in in-kind labor to First Story.

Recently, Brisa and Mt. Hood Decorating have been incredibly involved in First Story’s affordable housing effort in Sisters, Oregon. Their invaluable support has provided six families with beautiful homes over the past two years. Without partners like Mt. Hood Decorating, First Story would not be able to serve the number of families they do.
